Hi everyone, Hope all are well. Here is a song called "Don't Cry". It was written and performed by Brian Whitehair. I remixed, edited, added background vocals, and mastered this. I am curious as whether or not the back ground vocals suit this song. Appreciate any feedback. Don't Cry

This is beautiful, background vocals are cool, I am thinking though a female voice backup would make this standout so much better, it would give it an old Nashville sound , but other than that this is over the top!!!!!

This is awesome Robert. Really like the pedal steel in this. I do agree with rod that with this tune a female voice would really set it off but the way you did it works also. Thanks for sharing bro.

Robert really enjoyed how you have brought out the compression and other effects, I looked him up and listened to the soundcloud version and yours is sweet, maybe you could see if he can find a female vocal, I think you could have both a female and male backing, I have heard some of the nashville artist who have done this, it really adds a little extra punch

he rejected my version. Oh well. said he didn't want to have it worked on now.
Thanks all for the kind comments.

Rob, I thought it was a good song and mix. It is regrettable that it was not accepted, my friend. I thought it sounded fine. Cheers, Joseph
