Well it's nearly the end of another year...this time last year though, I was posting on the JS forum..I joined the js forum march 2012 and it changed my life..Firstly jamstudio enabled me to do my first music tracks and lead me on to writing songs for the first time in my life..It was Rob mixing my first song that showed me the potential of my music and made me want to strive more..the feedback on the forum was my music lifeline as I was still very nervous and lacking in confidence and the support helped push me along..I have written heaps of songs, done quite a few collaborations, achieved a lot in my music in the short space but the best thing was meeting the wonderful people along the way..I have formed good and hopefully lasting friendships..I was sad that things went sour on the js forum but its you guys what made the forum and so Hatch's decision to make a new one was a great idea..I did feel flat for awhile adjusting to the change and I have had some personal stuff affect me and been questioning my music etc so I haven't been on as much as I first planned..I am not called melancholysoulgirl for nothing so I am not sure if I can outgrow my habit from js deleting stuff..my reaction to hurt in my life is to retreat and withdraw..then I come good and think darn I have lost all my youtube views or feedback on posted songs and I repost lol...well I just wanted to say before everyone gets busy with christmas stuff that you guys have been a joy in getting to know and sharing music adventures with and I love you all!!
I look forward to our musical endeavours together next year and above all, our friendships :-) Blessings to you all this christmas season, M.S.G

Well said Mel and my sentiments exactly... Thank you for being such an inspiration to us all. I have enjoyed this year immensely and have had a good share in the good times we've all had this year... Some awesome collabs and as always great work coming from all. It's certainly a pleasure to be in the company of such talented artist on this forum. I'm looking forward to it growing and all the good times to come... Have a very merry Christmas everyone  |

Hey MSG !.....you know, a lot of us got sad about all that stuff that happened over on JS. The truth is, you were the best thing that happened to that site since it was created. All of us who had been there for a while, instantly recognized your talent....and we were thrilled that you were there ! The reason we are all here now is because of one person....and we all know who it is. He pretended to help everyone by offering free web hosting.. etc, and it was all a lie...it was about power, and it caught up to him. It hurt Jam Studio too. And the absolute worst thing he did to himself was to try and destroy our best friend. We love you...and we are here for you until we all get hit by a comet! Our sun took care of that last one for us...lol...so keep on singing !
PS....your Day Dreams video is Outstanding !

Dave Totally agree, I believe in fate, when things happen ,it opens another door, we all met at the js, now we are growing and have moved on, something big is going to happen this year, it could be hatch ,icy, MSG, Robert, Mick, I don't know the intricate details about the js site, but it was fun and that's where Dave and I started about the same time and I was making stupid little tunes like burning hamburgers and chilling out , hey Dave I think it will be 5 years soon, imagine that, and now they have a Running of the Bulls in Atlanta, pretty funny |

I was with JSF for 3 to four years and I hate that it went belly up. I've met some amazing people and I'm glad to you guys my friends. Mel I have to say when you look at your music and think you aren't good enough you need to kick yourself in the butt. YOU ARE AMAZING!!!! Don't ever think your not. I haven't been on recently because I've been helping some local guys with their music and I've been super busy. I've also been thinking about a needed change. If I'm not on here much it's not that I'm mad or upset....just busy. Rock on and Happy Holidays.

Mel, I would be lying if I said that I didn't miss the old JS board. I do. But one person wrecked it all and let the power go to his head. You can't blame yourself. It's his fault, you did nothing to deserve what he did. None of us did. He just went off his rocker. Hatch started this board to get away from the drama and have a place where we didn't have to worry about drama. I haven't been on for a while, I'm 6 months pregnant, working full time, and in the middle of moving to a new place, life's been plenty busy for me.  Merry Christmas everyone! |
