You were one of the main reasons I started this Mel. I knew all the friendships that we all have built needed to be saved so I set this place up to do just that. This is our forum and we have the freedom to build something special here.

I thought it was pretty cool and I've been listening to Hatch's stuff lol :)I would of like to of embedded it but it didn't work... does anyone know if you can do that on this forum???...

I thought it was pretty cool and I've been listening to Hatch's stuff lol :)I would of like to of embedded it but it didn't work... does anyone know if you can do that on this forum???... It is possible to embed the music player for soundcloud, but it takes some work to get it right. You can go to Rusty's song "Frailty Within" and see that I was able to get the player for souncloud to embed but it requires manual manipulation of the code to make it work. https%3A//api.soundcloud.com/tracks/117452051To embed a soundcloud music player, follow these steps. When you are creating a post... there is a button to the far left with a pic of the sound cloud logo. click on it and it will ask for you to enter a link to the music file on soundcloud. The soundcloud page will have a share button which when clicked, it will give code for link, wiget and wordpress. you need to extract the link portion only from the word press code and enter this link. Do you see the link code under the player? that is the part that needs to be extracted from the wordpres code. I know this is very confussing and needs to be changed. Robert |

The problem with that is that all members. may not want their video embeded. The best way to embed your video is to use the "Insert Video" button when you are creating your post. (note: quick reply does'nt offer this unless you go back and edit the post) When you click this button, it will ask for a link. Just insert the link from the share button on the YouTube page. The insert video button says it supports ,wmv / .avi / .mpg / .mov / .mp4 But it will also support the video link that you get from the youtube page. Robert |
